A contribution from original Shindiggers saxophonist Nick Aggs, written before he left Shanghai to return to his native Australia. It portrays the wonder and joy of his 3-year-old son discovering the dance of the butterflies. And it also reflects Nick’s China experience in the pentatonic fanfare, here given voice on the traditional Chinese musical instruments the Guzheng (Chinese Zither) and the Dizi (Chinese Flute).
