A song exploring the obsessiveness nurtured by social media, the terrifying pace of technological change, and juxtaposed with the time-scale of geological change. The title comes from a well-known story about a man who tells a scientist that, in fact, the entire world is actually on the back of a giant turtle. The scientist asks the man well then what is the turtle standing on? Of course, it’s on the back of another even more gigantic turtle. And what is that turtle standing on? Why, it’s turtles all the way down!

entire world is sitting on the back of a turtle.

green mountains, valleys,
crevices and water drainage that occurs.
